This privacy policy applies to the Time Lock app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Salman Ahmad (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as an Ad Supported and Subscription-Based service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

When using the Application, we may collect and store limited personal information for the purpose of authentication, subscriptions, and data sync. Specifically:

• Google Sign-In: The app uses your Google account for secure login and authentication.
• Cloud Sync: Time tracking data and user preferences are synced to a secure cloud database (Google Firestore) after login for backup and cross-device use.
• Subscriptions: Purchase information (e.g., subscription status) is verified using Google Play Billing to unlock premium features. No sensitive payment information is stored by the app.

Your data is not shared with any third-party services beyond those required to operate core functionality (Google Play, Firebase Authentication, and Firestore).

Does the Application collect precise real-time location information?

No. The Application does not collect or use real-time location data.

Do third parties see or have access to user data?

We do not share your personal data with any third parties for advertising or analytics. Data is only stored on Google services (Firebase/Firestore) necessary for login, sync, and subscription verification. These services adhere to strict security and privacy standards.

Data Retention and User Controls

Data synced to the cloud is retained to support your app usage. You may delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting the developer at the email below. You may also uninstall the app to stop further data collection or sign out from within the app.

Children

The Application is not directed toward children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove the information promptly.

Security

We take data security seriously and use Firebase’s built-in encryption, authentication, and security rules to protect your data. No sensitive data is stored locally without your knowledge. The app uses Android's Accessibility API for lockscreen overlays, which is fully optional and requires explicit user consent. If not granted, the overlay feature is disabled.
